Riftquest: Lost Between Empires

A birthday gift for , who wanted me to see if I could write a crossover story starring our characters. Luckily for him, my story's world has a very loose hold on the fabric of reality, and adventurers are often subject to wandering off the face of the earth without their consent... or be invited into that world without consent themselves.

However! This story is not finished. I am only halfway through the second act and I have yet to complete it because schoolwork. This will probably be the longest short story I have written since high school (my scriptwriting assignments from this past year don't count), clocking in at 35-40+ pages, which is why I am leaving it here as a PDF and not a wall of text you, the viewer will inevitably gloss over. I promise! I will finish it! I am seriously genuinely invested in what I'm writing and it will be good practice for when the time comes for me to write Riftquest as the continent-spanning, coming of age fantasy epic it was always meant to be.
